• Built the QuickBooks Desktop integration: vendors link workers and pay items, then send approved hours and invoices through a queue collected by the QuickBooks Web Connector, and payments made in QuickBooks mark invoices as paid.
• Designed a benefits and leave system with vendor-defined leave categories (earned from hours worked, granted by the vendor, or paid public holidays), worker requests from the mobile app, and vendor approvals on web.
• Made order creation and editing reliable for one-time, recurring and permanent orders on web and mobile: surfaced silently dropped worker assignments with a reason per worker, fixed shift-numbering conflicts on edits, and recorded failures for diagnosis without storing worker identity.
• Corrected client and vendor reporting (spend, fill rate, no-show rate) behind one API shared by web and mobile, and redesigned the web Reports page with period filters and CSV/PDF export.
• Moved chat storage fully onto Stream Chat behind a feature flag, removing duplicated message tables and sync scripts, and fixed shift chats so they reach client and vendor and turn read-only when a shift ends.
• Extended billing with vendor-only invoice editing until client approval, extra staff entries and charges, and a per-hub invoice week start day.
• Built a one-command demo seeder that creates an account with three months of realistic history, and back changes with API, migration and schema-contract tests.
